Inclement Weather Policy
Every outdoor wedding event, at some point in time could possibly be at risk of being impacted by inclement weather. Because of the nature of our business, being an outdoor a wooded ceremony venue, we understand the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. Hand in hand with preparation, our chief concern rests with the safety of our clients, their guests and Redwick’s wedding staff and equipment. Most vendors or staff are unable to work in the rain, thunderstorms, lightening or in conditions that would not be safe including high winds. Redwick’s wedding in the woods does offer a couple options to their clients if the conditions of the weather are not cooperating.
If it is raining the entire duration of your selected ceremony time, we will offer you a few options:
Option 1: During your selected ceremony time, we can provide you, your wedding party and your guest clear umbrellas to complete the ceremony.
Options 2: During your selected ceremony time, and we have reached the end of the ceremony window of time to complete your ceremony, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your ceremony with us with in 30 days for no additional charges or fees. You can select and choose from the open available times.
Option 3: Ceremony & Reception: You have the option to bring in a tent for the reception space to cover the guest seating area during dinner. While this comes at an additional cost, we recommend budgeting for it as a backup plan—and hoping the weather cooperates for your big day!
Additionally, if you chose additional add-ons for your ceremony and we are unable to provide them, you will be 100% refunded for those add-ons that were unable to be provided. (please see add-ons that are not refundable)
Due to the nature of Redwick’s wedding in the woods schedule and business we cannot provide 100% refunds for a cancellation due to inclement weather. Redwick’s wedding in the woods will refund 80% of the cost of the time slot you selected.
We strongly suggest that you consider purchasing “wedding insurance” to cover any expenses incurred due to postponement of your wedding.
